Dragon Slayer: Done!

Yes! Yes! On the fifth try I finally killed Elvarg, the Dragon of Crandor! This is probably the hardest quest on the free players world. I went with my friend, and he was supposed to help me kill the dragon, but he couldn't go into where the dragon was. I though 'I'm dead, I'm dead, I'm dead...' but no! I have prevailed in killing Elvarg. For most of you out there, killing a level 82 dragon is probably incredibly easy, but it wasn't for me, a level 47 noob wearing adamant armor. The only quest left for me to do before I become a member is finish Shield Of Arrav, 'cause I need someone in the other gang (not the Black Arm gang).

60 Woodcutting!

That's right, I've finally reached that benchmark, level 60 wc. I can finally cut yews! (Picture of me cutting yews behind Varrock Castle ---->)
One inventory full of yews gives you 12k minimum price in the G.E. I now have a measly 121k in my bank, but it's going up. And you are probably thinking about how I'm wearing adamant armour... Well, I'm saving up for full Rune.

Combat Levels

I last posted an article about how I earned money, so I decided It'd be cool to post how I earn combat levels.

1) The Lumbridge Catacombs.  This dungeon was just recently added to the Runescape world, and you have to do a quest to gain access to it. But fret not, for the quest in incredibly easy. You just have to kill three level three people, and the quest is done. To start the quest, just talk to the old lady in the Lumbridge graveyard. After the quest, you follow the catacombs and go down a staircase. Once down, you can proceed in killing all the monsters you want. All the monsters in this dungeon are level 20 or below, so this is a really good training spot for noobs.

2) Wilderness.  Keep in mind, the Wilderness is and always will be a VERY dangerous place to visit. Revenants and strong monsters can kill you before you know it. But, despite all the danger, you can gain many levels while in the wilderness. You want to bring along some good food for all the combat, some of which will be a surprise. You can also get very good drops from monsters in the wilderness.

Now, these are just two ways that I like a lot of gaining combat levels. There are countless methods of gaining levels, and these are just a few favorites.

Money!

No, I'm not talking about real life money (I wish I was..), but Runescape gold! I decided to post how i make money in Runescape.

1. Mining.  Now, mining can be one of those skills that makes to good dough from the start. You can mine tin and copper south of Lumbridge, and then smith them in Lumbridge. Bars always sell for more than ores do. But, my mining level is 52, almost 53, so I can mine iron really fast. So, I go to the south-west Varrock bank with nature runes in my inventory and a staff of fire, and mine iron and use the superheat item spell (which requires 43 magic) on them to instantly smelt them. This spell guarantees that all the iron ore is successfully turned into an iron bar. Iron bars sell for 420 in the G.E. right now, while normal iron ores sell for 261.

2. Woodcutting.  Actually, just yesterday I woodcutted 1k oak logs. This sold for 76k in the G.E.. Each individual log sells for 73 right now. My woodcutting level is 58 right now, close to 59. When it is 60, I will be able to cut yews which sell for around 535 in the G.E. right now.

3. Dark Wizards.  This method was just resently introduced to me my a good friend. He had a ton more money than me, so I asked him, "How did you earn so much money?" and he said, "Killing dark wizards." At first, I forgot what to dark wizards were, since I haven't passed by them for forever. But when he showed me, I went and fought them, and one inventory full of everything they dropped (including bones) sold on the G.E. for a total of 10k! Now, this isn't very much, but it can add up to a lot!

So, thanks for reading this and coming to my blog, and I hope at least one of these helps you out in your money-making efforts!

New character!

Hello, hello, hello! I've been pretty inactive on this site (I actually forgot about it :/ ) so I decided to get it going again. Just so you know, I am no longer playing on my level 62 aronthia, so I would be happy to give him away to any takers! Just contact me and I'll send you his password. So, I am now using a level 42 named bewarebear. I know, what a noob, but I'm only just beginning with him, and he's not a member at the moment, so yes, he's pretty noobish. But don't worry, I'm working on him. Well, that's all for now. Bye!
